Q: Does it cost anything to join?
A: Yes. Annual dues for membership in the Serra Club of Evansville for 2010 are $275. Dues cover the cost of national membership, member meeting lunches, and programs.
A: Following lunch the chaplain gives a spiritual reflection followed by the month's program. Typically a speaker will make a presentation in regard to vocations or other matters pertaining to the Catholic faith.
A: With rare exceptions, the Serra Club of Evansville meets every first Friday of the month at noon. Evansville operates in the Central Time Zone. The officers meet every third Wednesday at the Catholic Center's Sarto Retreat House to plan the club's programs and other efforts.
A: The first-Friday member meetings are conducted at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 201 NW 3rd Street in downtown Evansville.
A: The local Serra Club of Evansville is one of hundreds of Serra Clubs in operation worldwide. We are a member of the
U.S.A. Council of Serra International. Officers and Trustees are elected from among the members. Offices include: President, Vice-President of Vocations, Vice-President of Programs, Vice-President of Membership, Vice-President of Communications, Secretary and Treasurer. There are three Trustees. The Chaplain is appointed by the bishop.

Blessed Junipero Serra, an 18th-century Spanish Franciscan who founded twenty-one missions in Mexico and California.
